I have long been fascinated by how things are made: the materials, shapes and details that give an object its character. That curiosity began in childhood and continued through more than a decade of professional practice in interior design. In my studio practice I have learnt to let the material and intuitive forms guide the process.

Drawn to the quiet alchemy of glazes and the slow transformations of the medium, I began working with clay several years ago. My approach is deliberately unconventional. I combine clay bodies with raw materials and pigments, moving away from traditional ceramic methods in favour of process-led exploration. Through this, my work has developed a language that is distinctly my own, shaped by surface, texture, and form.

Soft, organic forms inspired by the human body are set against rough, raw, and at times synthetic-appearing textures. My pieces feature my own handmade glazes, resulting from years of glaze development, which have become a signature part of my work. While each material choice is carefully considered, the kiln remains central. Fire becomes a collaborator, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike. My works invite the viewer into a whimsical, contemplative journey, suspended somewhere between the earthbound and the imagination.
